About us

We are making this for our own wedding.

Handfast is Jakub and Patka. We are planning our own day, could not find the thing we wanted, and are building it instead.

Chapter one

The easy part

The website was supposed to be the easy part. One link to send people, so nobody has to ask us the same three questions — where, when, and whether they can bring somebody.

Chapter two

Not the easy part

It was not the easy part. So we started making what we had been looking for: a page you can put together in an afternoon, with the guest list, the replies and the seating plan behind it, in one place and in our own language.

Chapter three

Not only ours

Our own day is still ahead of us, and Handfast is being built for it. But it is not only ours any more: other couples are already planning their weddings with it.
