1. Who we are

2. What Handfast is
Handfast is an online service for planning a wedding and for the website a couple sends to their guests: the invitation, replies, the guest list, the seating plan, the budget, the day's schedule and a shared photo album. Wedding coordinators can run their clients' weddings under one account of their own.
3. Your account
You create an account with your e-mail address and a password. Keep them to yourself: whatever happens under your account is treated as done by you. You can close the account at any time, from the service or by writing to us.
4. Prices and payment
Planning is free, for as long as you like. Publishing one wedding's site for guests costs 39 €, paid once, VAT included.
For coordinators, two weddings at a time are free with every tool. Beyond that the plan costs 89 € a month plus VAT, for as many weddings as the season brings, and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the paid period.
Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which acts as the merchant of record — the charge on your statement and the invoice come from Creem. We never see your card details. A price change never affects what you have already paid for.
If anything about a payment is unclear or goes wrong, write to ahoj@handfast.wedding and we will put it right.
5. Publishing, and how long the site stays
A published site stays online after the wedding at no further cost. If we ever had to close the service down, we would tell you at least six months in advance and give you a way to take your words and photographs with you.
6. Withdrawing from the purchase
As a consumer you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason — an e-mail to ahoj@handfast.wedding is enough. By publishing your site you ask us to provide the service immediately, and once it is fully provided the right of withdrawal lapses. The coordinator plan needs no withdrawal at all: cancel it any time and it simply runs out at the end of the period you paid for.
7. Your content
Your words and photographs remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store them and show them to the people you share your site with. You confirm you are entitled to what you upload — including photographs of other people.
8. Your guests' data
The guest list, replies and guests' photographs belong to your wedding and you decide their purpose: for that data you are the controller and we are the processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The details are in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
9. What is not allowed
Unlawful content, infringing other people's rights, abusing the infrastructure, or reselling the service without our agreement. We may suspend an account that does this, and unless the law prevents it we will warn you first.
10. Availability and liability
We run the service with care, but no online service can promise it will never be interrupted. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Complaints and disputes
Write to ahoj@handfast.wedding. We answer within 30 days. A consumer may also turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI, soi.sk) for alternative dispute resolution, or use the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes, and the law that governs
We may update these terms. A substantial change is announced in advance by e-mail or in the service, and continuing to use the service after it takes effect means accepting it. These terms are governed by Slovak law. As a consumer you always keep the protection of the law of your own country.
