1. Who we are
The Handfast service is operated by Brutuscore s. r. o., Lermontovova 911/3, 811 05 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID 57 114 129, VAT ID SK2122585311. You can reach us any time at ahoj@handfast.wedding.
2. What Handfast is
Handfast is an online service for planning a wedding and for the website a couple sends to their guests: the invitation, replies, the guest list, the seating plan, the budget, the day's schedule and a shared photo album. Wedding coordinators can run their clients' weddings under one account of their own. Suppliers (photographers, florists, venues and others) can list themselves in a catalogue where couples find them right inside the planner.
3. Your account
You create an account with your e-mail address and a password. Keep them to yourself: whatever happens under your account is treated as done by you. You can close the account at any time, in the service or by e-mail.
4. Prices and payment
Planning is free, for as long as you like. Publishing one wedding's site costs €39. It is paid once and the price includes VAT. Until a wedding is paid for, its album holds at most 30 photographs.
The coordinator plan costs €39 a month plus VAT. It covers the view of the whole season, your own name and logo in front of your clients, your saved processes and your supplier book. Weddings are paid for separately: each costs €39 once, whoever starts it, and the subscription does not include them. Without the plan you can run 2 weddings at a time that are still ahead of you. You can cancel the plan at any time and it runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Memories forever is an optional subscription that keeps your photo album online after the included period (section 5). It costs €19 a year including VAT, is paid through Creem, and can be cancelled at any time. It runs to the end of the year you paid for.
Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which acts as the merchant of record. The charge on your statement and the invoice come from Creem, and Creem calculates VAT according to the buyer's country. We never see your card details.
A partner code (section 11) lowers the price of a wedding. The discount is applied at payment.
A price change never affects what you have already paid for. If anything about a payment is unclear or goes wrong, write to ahoj@handfast.wedding and we will put it right.
5. How long the site and the album stay online
Your wedding site stays online after the wedding, at no extra cost.
The photo album, meaning your guests' photographs and your own photographs and films (up to 10 GB), is stored for 2 years after the wedding day, included in the price of the wedding. We e-mail you a month before that period ends. Then you can keep the album online with Memories forever for €19 a year, or download every original, which is always free.
If you do not extend the album, you can still download the originals for 90 days after the included period ends. After that we remove the album with its photographs and films. Your wedding site, the planner and the rest of the wedding are not affected. The same applies if you cancel Memories forever: the 90 days run from the end of the year you paid for.
If we ever had to close the service down, we would tell you at least six months in advance and give you a way to take your words and photographs with you.
6. Withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. An e-mail to ahoj@handfast.wedding is enough. Creem returns your money by the same means you paid, no later than 14 days after you withdraw.
By publishing your site you ask us to provide the service immediately, and you acknowledge that once it is fully provided the right of withdrawal lapses.
The coordinator plan and the Memories forever subscription can be cancelled at any time. They run to the end of the period you paid for, and no further payment is taken.
7. Your content
Your words and photographs remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store them and show them to the people you share your site with. You confirm you are entitled to what you upload, including photographs of other people.
8. Translating your site
You can have your site translated into other languages. A draft translation is prepared by artificial intelligence, and only when you ask for it. You can read and edit the translation before publishing it. You are responsible for the texts you publish.
9. Your guests' data
The guest list, replies and guests' photographs belong to your wedding and you decide their purpose: for that data you are the controller and we are the processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The details are in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
10. The supplier catalogue
Listing in the catalogue is free. A supplier's listing holds the business name, what you do, where you work, a description, a price from, contact details and photographs. We read it before it is published, usually within two working days. We may refuse or withdraw a listing that is untrue, misleading or breaks these terms.
Couples see the listing in the planner, in the countries and regions you choose. You are responsible for the accuracy of what it says and for being entitled to the photographs in it.
Any contract between a couple and a supplier is made directly between them. Handfast is not a party to it, does not handle payments between them and does not guarantee that it is fulfilled.
11. Partner codes
A partner, meaning a supplier, a coordinator or anyone else we agree with, receives a code of their own. A couple who uses it pays less for their wedding. The partner earns a fixed reward for every wedding paid for with their code. The partner sees the size of the discount and of the reward beside their code, and any change applies only to future payments.
A reward counts 14 days after the payment, provided the couple has not withdrawn. We pay rewards out quarterly once the total reaches the minimum shown beside the code. Otherwise it carries over to the next quarter.
The partner is responsible for their own taxes and contributions and issues a document on request. The code may not be spread misleadingly, by unsolicited messages, or through paid advertising on the Handfast brand name. If a code is abused we may cancel it and withhold rewards earned through the abuse.
12. What is not allowed
Unlawful content, infringing other people's rights, abusing the infrastructure, or reselling the service without our agreement. We may suspend an account that does this. Unless the law prevents it, we will warn you first.
13. Availability and liability
We run the service with care, but no online service can promise it will never be interrupted. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Complaints and disputes
Write to ahoj@handfast.wedding. We answer within 30 days. A consumer may also turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI, soi.sk) for alternative dispute resolution, or use the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Changes, and the law that governs
We may update these terms. A substantial change is announced in advance by e-mail or in the service, and continuing to use the service after it takes effect means accepting it. These terms are governed by Slovak law. As a consumer you always keep the protection of the law of your own country.
